Ingredients for making Sabudana Tikki
Soaked Sabudana – 2 cups
Potatoes boiled – 2-3
Roasted Peanuts – 1/2 cup
Ginger grated – 1 tsp
Green chilies chopped – 2-3
Cumin powder – 3/4 tsp
Amchur – 1/2 tsp
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Oil – for frying
Salt – as per taste

How to make Sabudana Tikki
To make Sabudana Tikki, first take sabudana and keep it soaked for 3-4 hours. When the sabudana becomes soft after swelling well, put it in a sieve and drain it well. When the water from the sago drains well, then transfer it to a big bowl. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes, remove their peels, mash them in a bowl, put them in the bowl and mix the sago and potatoes well.

Now roast the peanuts and after that crush them well and mix them in the sago-potato mixture. After this, add grated ginger, chopped green coriander, green chili, cumin powder, amchur and salt as per taste and mix it all well. After this, keep this mixture little by little on the palms and make tikkis and keep them aside in a plate.
When all the tikkis are ready, take a nonstick pan/tawa and keep it for heating. Put some oil on the pan and spread it all around and roast it by placing tikkis on it. After roasting from one side, flip the tikkis and apply some oil. When the sabudana tikkis turn golden and crispy from both the sides, take them out on a plate. Similarly roast all the sabudana tikkis. If you want, you can also deep fry Sabudana Tikki. Now serve delicious Sabudana Tikki with tomato sauce or chutney.
