Rahul Gandhi, CM Gehlot reached Udaipur to attend Congress’s Chintan Shivir, party workers gave a grand welcome

Congress’s three-day ‘Nav Sankalp Chintan Shivir’ is going to start in Udaipur, Rajasthan from today. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has reached Udaipur to attend the Chintan Shivir. Rahul Gandhi has been warmly welcomed in Udaipur. A large number of party leaders and workers including Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot were present on this occasion.

The focus of this ‘Navsankalp Chintan Shivir’, to be held from May 13 to May 15, is to strengthen the party by addressing its organizational challenges and prepare the party for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The Chintan Shivir will begin with the address of Congress President Sonia Gandhi. After this, there will be a deep brainstorming on 6 important issues decided by the party. These issues will include political, organizational, economic, social justice and welfare, agriculture and issues related to farmers and youth.

After in-depth discussion on all these issues for three days in the Chintan Shivir, resolutions will be prepared and passed. On the last day i.e. May 15, Rahul Gandhi will address the camp and the Congress Working Committee will meet on the same day. In which the manifesto of ‘Udaipur Navsankalp Chintan Shivir’ will be finalised. About 430 people, including party MPs, MLAs, MLCs, office bearers of state Congress committees and about 50 other special invitees, are participating in the camp.

During the camp, a group of party leaders led by Congress President Sonia Gandhi will strengthen the party organization, prepare the blue print of the changes in the organization’s infrastructure, prepare the Udaipur manifesto and implement it within the stipulated time frame as well as 2024. Will have an in-depth discussion on the strategy to start preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. During this camp, emphasis will be laid on bringing about meaningful change in the party organization rather than mere formality and action plan will be prepared.
