Chhattisgarh: Seven Naxalites surrendered

Sukma: Seven Naxalites, who were involved in various Naxalite activities in Chitalnar area of ​​Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, have surrendered after being influenced by the Poona Narkom operation.

Police sources said that Vetti Laxman alias Laxma, Kawasi Kosa, Sodi Badru in front of DSP Naxal Ops Rajat Kumar Nag in the police superintendent’s office, influenced by the promotion of the rehabilitation policy of the Chhattisgarh government and the Poona Narkom campaign being run by the Sukma Police. Surrendered yesterday without arms. While four other Naxalites have surrendered in the Kukanar police station area including the district headquarters. All the surrendered Naxalites have been involved in various Naxalite activities happening in Chitalnar area. Incentives and other facilities will be provided to the surrendered people under the rehabilitation scheme of the government to connect the Naxalites with the mainstream.
