Ingredients for Potato Corn Cutlets
Sweet corn boiled – 2 cups
Potatoes boiled – 2
Onion finely chopped – 1
Beans – 1 cup
Carrot chopped – 1
Peas – 1/2 cup (optional)
Cabbage grated – 1/4 cup
Ginger grated – 1 tsp
Green chilies chopped – 2
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Chaat masala – 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1 pinch
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Oil – as required
Salt – as per taste
How to make Potato Corn Cutlets
To make Aloo-Corn Cutlets, first boil the sweet corn and potatoes. Keep the boiled sweet corn aside in a bowl, while peeling the boiled potatoes and mash them in a mixing bowl. Keep in mind that the potatoes should not be boiled for a long time. After three whistles take off the potato cooker. Now add sweet corn, grated cabbage, peas (optional), carrots, beans to the mashed potatoes and mix. After this add red chili powder, chopped green chilies, garam masala, chaat masala, chopped coriander and mix it. If you want, you can also add some poha to make the cutlet crispy.

When the potato corn cutlet mixture is ready, make round balls before it. After this, give the shape of tikki by pressing the balls. Now take a nonstick pan/tawa and spread some oil in it and heat it on medium flame. When the tawa is hot, keep the cutlets and roast them. Fry the cutlets while turning them till they are crispy and golden brown from both the sides. After that take it out in a plate separately. If you want, you can bake them and if you want, you can also deep fry them. Similarly roast all the cutlets. Delicious potato corn cutlets are ready for snacks. Serve them with green chutney or tomato sauce.
